It was indeed an unforgettable day for many football fans especially fans of the legendary ex Man Utd/England player Bryan Robson when a meet the fans session was held on 18th February 2011 at the TelBru/B-Mobile Headquarters.

The queue to meet the ex-footballer started as early as 8.30 am as many were eager to have their books/tshirts and other memorabilia signed by the legendary footballer. Customers were also given complimentary A5 posters of ‘Captain Marvel’ himself, the nick-name given during his England Captain days to be used during the signing session. Invites were extended to all B-Mobile Club Card holders as well as TelBru privilege card holders and special invites were given to those registering for new services at TelBru or B-Mobile counters February onwards. These customers were treated to a much more personal encounter with Mr. Bryan Robson during a special light refreshment session that also went on yesterday morning.

Bryan Robson arrived in Brunei this week to start campaigning for the EPL Masters Football Brunei Cup 2011 of which TelBru & B-Mobile are title sponsors of. The one day tournament will be held on the 11th March 2011 at the Indoor Stadium featuring a great line up of many other footballers such as Robbie Fowler, Andy Cole, Patrik Berger, Steve McManaman and many more. Not forgetting the Nation’s DPMM FC team will also be battling their best in this Futsal tournament.

The TelBru B-Mobile EPL Masters Football Brunei Cup 2011 is the first of its kind and response received from public has been most encouraging. “This is indeed a football match not to be missed. And having it in Brunei is even a bigger bonus” commented one of the fans waiting in line during yesterday’s Meet & Greet session. Tickets are selling fast and are also available over all B-Mobile branches and Kadai TelBru. Special discount of 10% is extended for all Privilege card holders of both TelBru & B-Mobile. There are also many ways one can win tickets to watch the game or dine in with the players as both B-Mobile & TelBru are actively campaigning it with their product promotion tie ups.

TelBru and B-Mobile as title sponsors will be carrying out the EPL masters football 2011 campaign from Feb 2011 to January 2012. Exciting events in line include a chance to participate in the Panna KO challenge which will be held on the 3-6 March at Times Square. As many as 150 tickets to watch the anticipated match will be up for grabs.
